For about a year now I have been serving as pastor at the Deutschen Evangeliumskirche. Together with my wife Sonja and our four children we had immigrated from Germany and settled in Toronto to start a new segment in our life. After having served for over 10 years in two congregations in Germany, I am now privileged to experience God's faithfulness in this congregation.
To me being a member of a congregeation means:
- sharing joys and Sorrows with others
- worshiping God in prayer and song
- be there for others
- talk about God and serve him
- personal spiritual growth
It is my prayer and my hope. that this congregation be a place, where people find peace and hope, faith and comfort, encouragement and restoration of their soul. More than that, my hope and wish is that everyone has a personal encounter with the living God.
